“Trace” data files

• SIA file header (dskrd and write):

• • Description (ASCII);
  • Database tables;
  • Arbitrary objects (texts, figures, maps);
  • Links to other files.

• Data traces:

• • May contain various objects;
  • Typically time series or 2D/3D arrays;
  • Arbitrary headers;
  • Arbitrary lengths, sampling intervals, and time starts;
  • Several data formats.
